Annual General Meeting of Leprosy People Association Held in Batticaloa
The Annual General Meeting of the Leprosy People Association (LPA) was successfully held in Batticaloa, bringing together members, the Board of Directors, and the Director of KKM. Representatives from 11 district branches participated in the meeting, demonstrating the organization’s continued commitment to strengthening its nationwide network.
A significant milestone was achieved during the event with the official expansion of the LPA into five additional districts, further extending its reach and support for people affected by leprosy across the country.
The meeting was also attended by representatives from The Leprosy Mission Great Britain (TLMGB) and ADT Lanka, whose participation reinforced the collaborative partnerships that support the Association’s mission.
As part of the event, the new official LPA T-shirt was ceremonially launched, symbolizing unity, identity, and the continued growth of the Association.
